应用：生物成像、生物检测、免疫组织化学、微阵列检测制备纳米胶束或微球或其他纳米粒子装载ICG实现成像。

吲哚菁绿(ICG)是目前被美国食品药物管理局(FDA)批准用于临床的近红外成像试剂．ICG，吲哚菁绿CAS:3599-32-4是一种三碳菁染料，具有良好的水溶性，分子量为775，吲哚菁绿可以在血浆和全血液中几乎与血浆蛋白结合，可以保证其几乎全留在血管中，不易向外扩散。ICG是一种具有近红外特征吸收峰的三碳花菁染料，发射波长在795～845nm之间，具有两亲性结构既亲水又亲油的特性．近红外光在组织中的穿透深度较大，且受生物组织本底的影响较小，由于ICG具有近红外吸收和发射荧光特性，可作为一种优良的体内组织穿透剂。

存储和处理

收到后，ICG染料应储存在<-15℃，并避免光照和潮湿。ICG染料的重构DMSO储备溶液可以在<-15℃下储存不到两周。蛋白质缀合物应在载体蛋白（例如0.1％牛血清白蛋白）存在下以> 0.5mg / mL储存。当在2mM叠氮hua钠存在下保存并且避光时，缀合物溶液可以在4℃下储存两个月而没有显着变化。对于更长时间的储存，可以将蛋白质缀合物冻干或分成单次使用的等分试样并在≤-60℃下储存，并避光。
